Summary
ShrinkDuck is designed to process images entirely on your Mac. It does not collect personal data, upload your images, create user profiles, serve advertising, or track your activity.
Image processing
Images and folders you choose are read only to perform the compression, conversion, resizing, metadata, output, and backup actions you request. These operations take place locally on your device.
Data collection
ShrinkDuck collects no personal data and includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. The app does not require an account or sign-in.
Network access
ShrinkDuck does not require a network connection for its image workflow. The “Check for Updates” action may open the app’s public Mac App Store page in your browser or the App Store app.
Files and backups
Output files and backups remain in locations on your Mac that you select or authorize. You control these files using ShrinkDuck and Finder.
